Mozaïek is een enorme passie.

 In 2004 verruilde Conny haar vaste baan voor haar passie en werd professioneel mozaïste. Haar  webwinkels voor de verkoop van materialen werden gelanceerd. Van een klein webwinkeltje groeiden deze websites in de loop van de jaren uit tot een bedrijf waar duizenden producten te vinden zijn die betrekking hebben op het maken van je eigen mozaïekwerken.

Met ingang van 2017 legt Conny zich volledig toe op het creëren van kunstobjecten.

Haar opleiding heeft Conny o.a. gevolgd in Italië, Frankrijk, België, Duitsland en Engeland.

Conny creëert kunstobjecten en voert mozaïekopdrachten uit voor opdrachtgevers in binnen- en buitenland.

Haar werk wordt gekenmerkt door de vloeiende lijnen, overlopende kleuren en verrassende combinaties van uiteenlopende materialen, waaronder handgemaakte objecten van keramiek en glas. Inspiratie vindt Conny voornamelijk in de natuur, in de breedste zin van het woord - het kan hierbij gaan om de haast schilderachtig realistische weergave van dieren tot een abstracte weergave van de kosmos. Ze zoekt de grenzen van de mogelijkheden met mozaïek op door het medium te combineren met toegepaste techniek als verlichting en elektrisch aangedreven componenten.

 Conny is lid van de Nationale Associatie voor Beeldend Kunstenaars (NABK), de Duitse mozaïekorganisatie DOMO, de International Association of Contemporay Mosaists (AIMC) en de British Association for Modern Mosaic (BAMM).

Mosaics are my passion.

 In 2004 Conny quit her job and switched to being a professional mosaist. Her webshops for selling mosaic materials were launched. Starting as  small webshops, these sites grew in due course to a company where thousands of products can be found for realizing your own mosaics.  

Starting 2017 Conny is fully devoted to the creation of objects of art.

Conny is trained in Italy, France, Belgium, Germany and the UK.

Conny creates mosaic art objects and realizes mosaic projects for customers, both in The Netherlands and abroad.

Her works are characterized by fluent lines, colour gradients  and a surprising combination of materials like hand-made ceramic or glass objects. Conny’s inspiration comes mainly from nature in the broadest meaning - ranging from near-realistic masaics of animals to abstract reflections of the cosmos. She tries to stretch the limits of the possibilities of modern mosaic techniques by applying light and electrically powered elements.

Conny is a member of the “Nationale Associatie voor Beeldend Kunstenaars (NABK)”, the national association of artists in the Netherlands, as well as the German mosaic association DOMO, the International Association of Contemporay Mosaists (AIMC) and the British Association for Modern Mosaics (BAMM).
